Founded in 1977, Crawford Arts Centre was a major art venue in Fife area until it was reformed to the new agency - Fife Contemporary Art & Craft (FCA&C) in 2006. Funded by Scottish Arts Council and
Fife Council, the new agency with charitable status curates and delivers exhibitions and projects across Fife with a wide range of partners including the Fife Museums.
FCA&C aims to present the highest quality of contemporary visual art and craft activities to the widest possible public across Fife, with a significance extending to the rest of Scotland, to the UK and EC.
FCA&C is also providing new means of supporting the development and networking of artists and makers based in Fife.
The exhibition HOTPOT [art, food & people] is curated by Fife Contemporary Art & Craft in collaboration with
Scottish Arts Council funded Trainee Curator
Tonia Lu. The Venue - St Andrews Museum's
Kinburn Gallery - is one of the key
exhibition venue partners of Fife Contemporary Art & Craft in which
FCA&C usually organises 2 exhibitions each year.
